Labor Day Special: FREE Practical Cycle T-Shirt

News & Updates

Labor Day is not just the last weekend of summer vacation or a good excuse to travel or party.  It is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.  The first Labor Day holiday was celebrated on Tuesday, September 5, 1882, in New York City, by the Central Labor Union.

New York City, the home of the first Labor Day Parade, is also the home of Worksman Cycles since 1898.  Considering an unemployment rate of 9.1% nationwide and 12% in California, Practical Cycle is proud to be Northern California’s ONLY Worksman Dealer.

Practical Cycle T-Shirts are screen printed in Sacramento by local artist Marty May.  The shirts themselves are made in Los Angeles by American Apparel.  Any Worksman Cycle purchased over  the Labor Day weekend will include a FREE Practical Cycle T-Shirt!
