VIDEO TRANSCRIPT

Hello, I’m Cassidy with Practical Cycle and I’m very excited to introduce the brand new Pedego Interceptor II- the electric bike that has it all. It combines beach cruiser comfort and style with high performance components and practical features for everyday use.

The most important part of this bike is the person riding it, so first and foremost it’s made to be comfortable. It features pedal-forward geometry that helps you enjoy an upright riding position, swept back handlebars that allow your upper body to relax, a big soft seat with a suspension seat post for extra cushion, and balloon tires for a nice, smooth ride.

But don’t be fooled by the laid back beach cruiser style, what really sets the Interceptor II apart is its unmatched performance. This state of the art, 500 watt motor is much more efficient and lightweight than the motors found on most electric bikes, and it uses planetary gears for even better acceleration and hill-climbing. The powerful 48V lithium battery is lightweight and long-lasting, and it’s guaranteed by an industry leading three year warranty. And top of the line Avid BB7 disk brakes in the front and rear will help you control all that power and stop on a dime in any weather.

The Interceptor II is fully equipped with all the practical features you need for everyday riding. It includes: front and rear lights that are powered by the main battery, a big, strong rack that’s built right into the frame, a sturdy and easy to use kickstand, kevlar belted tires with self sealing tubes for flat protection, and there’s even a bell built right into the brake lever!

The Interceptor II is very easy to use. To get started, you push this top button to turn the system on. Push that same but again, and you’ll see the console will light up and the front and rear lights are now on as well. You push this button to scroll through the different information that’s displayed including the total distance, trip time, trip distance, and top speed. The plus and minus buttons control the electric assistance. When it says zero like it does now, you are in throttle assist mode where you use a simple twist and go throttle. You also have level one through five of pedal assistance, where the bike will automatically sense how much you’re pedaling and match your effort proportionately. To turn the system off you just push and hold this top button.

The battery can easily be removed from the bike by turning this key and sliding it out. It can be charged on or off the bike.

In summary, I would say that the Pedego Interceptor II is a dream come true. With this latest round of improvements, Pedego has covered everything on our wishlist and them some. And what makes it even better is Pedego has a well deserved reputation for providing unbeatable customer service. It’s their official company policy to do whatever it takes to make sure that every single Pedego customer is 100% satisfied.
