Steve and Carolee are long time electric bike riders.  They have owned several different types of bicycles and and even an electric assist tricycle over the years.  This time around, they really did their homework.  They did all the research they could online and then test rode five different brands- Hebb, A2B, Stromer, BionX, and Pedego.  When they were convinced that Pedego Electric Bikes were best suited for their needs they came back to Practical Cycle to rent a few for a longer ride along the American River Parkway. 

When they returned, Steve was a bit discouraged because the longer ride had caused him some pain in his back and tail bone.  My dad suggested he try the Easy Seat, and Steve took one home to try out on one of his current bikes.  Problem solved!  They were back two days later to pick up these two Step-Thru Comfort Cruisers with Balloon Packages.  Carolee's bike has fenders and Steve ordered an extended range battery to help him haul their dogs in a trailer.

Carol's loving sister bought her this Pedego Electric Bike as a surprise birthday gift.  Carol had been in to Practical Cycle several times looking at electric bikes and dreaming of owning one someday.  She plans to ride her new bike to work everyday.

Christina's favorite color is purple, and her dad, Pere, helped her buy this purple Pedego Electric Bike with purple fenders and a purple Nutcase helmet.  She has impaired vision and does not drive, so the bike will bring her new freedom and independence.  She is planning on using a trailer to carry her two kids around town.

Chris and Lori have seen their share of challenges over the past few years. They also have a daughter not pictured here, and they have managed to stick together as one happy family.  Chris told us that Lori makes a lot of sacrifices for the family without asking much for herself, and he wanted to do something extra special just for her.  After doing their due diligence- test rides, research, shopping around, and careful consideration- they decided to invest in a fully-loaded Pedego Electric Bike with an extended life battery, balloon package, saddlebags, mirrors, and a basket. Lori rides the bike to work every day, and they are saving a bundle of money on parking and light rail tickets. Plus she is having FUN!
