Dale first found out about electric bikes over a year ago, but until he came to pick up his newly converted bike he had never actually ridden one. He did lots of research online and decided that a BionX conversion kit was best for him. It was the new 48 Volt Premium Series systems, with even less weight and more range than other BionX systems, that finally pushed him over the edge. He ordered his kit before it was even available and then waited patiently for it to arrive from Canada. Once we finally got it installed on his bike he was ready for his first electric bike ride ever! I'm sure you can imagine the ecstatic look on his face when he got back!!!

Here is one of our latest BionX electric bike conversions. After test riding several of our electric bikes and weighing his options, Mike decided to convert his Fuji folding bike with a BionX PL 350 HT DT L kit.

Don had been wanting an electric bike for a long time. He decided that a recumbent would be best suited for him because it would be the most comfortable for his back. After buying this used Sun EZ-Sport, he brought it straight to Practical Cycle for a BionX Electric Conversion Kit. Now he is cruising around with comfort and ease!

Clinton's bike is one of the coolest BionX electric conversions that Practical Cycle has done. The entire frame of his Specialized Hard Rock has been transformed into a work of psychedelic art! One day Clinton got sick and tired of paying for traffic and parking tickets, along with all the other hidden costs of driving an automobile (gas is actually the cheap part), and he wisely decided to ride an electric bike instead. Clinton comes from a bike-riding family (his dad commutes to work by bicycle), and they are very supportive of his decision. His loving mother, Cathy, even helped finance the BionX conversion, and now Clinton has a lot of weeds to pull!

Jan and Cade Adams love their Bike E recumbent bikes so much that they are on their second pair. After moving from Hawaii and leaving their bikes behind they bought two more! Now they live in the foothills at the end of a very long, steep hill, and they came to Practical Cycle for help. After two long test rides along the American River Parkway, an overnight rental to try out the hills near their home, and lots of careful consideration they decided to retrofit both of their bikes with BionX electric conversion kits. Here they are after picking up their bikes and riding them over thirty miles along bike trail.
